POWER PLATFORM DEVELOPER – HYBRID IN NEW YORK CITY

We are seeking a Power Platform Developer for a 6-month hybrid contract position in New York City. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Power Platform tools and a strong background in both low-code and custom development. Immediate availability is required.

What You’ll Do

Design and implement solutions using Power Platform components, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, and Copilot Studio
Develop custom functionality using JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, and .NET where needed
Create and manage custom connectors and APIs for data integration
Utilize Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, API Management) to extend Power Platform capabilities
Model data effectively and integrate with external sources like SQL Server, Dynamics 365, and REST APIs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and project managers
Gather and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members on best practices

What You’ll Bring

10+ years of overall IT experience preferred
Proven expertise with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, Power Virtual Agents/Copilot Studio)
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Excel) and their integration with Power Platform
Proficiency in both low-code/no-code development and custom coding
Hands-on experience with Dataverse and data modeling concepts
Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to align solutions with strategic goals
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience working with government clients or in public sector environments
Familiarity with Agile project environments
Prior mentoring or leadership experience on development teams
