About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a hands-on engineering and leadership role in shaping the future of AMS’s web-based CRM platform. You will architect and develop full-stack features on our .NET 6 Core Web API system, support legacy systems during transition, mentor junior developers, and contribute to a culture of clean, scalable, and thoughtful engineering.
You’ll work closely with the CTO and product team to push high-priority deliverables across the finish line while helping the team grow both technically and professionally.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Help lead the design, implementation, and deployment of scalable full-stack .NET applications
- Maintain and enhance .NET Core 6 Web APIs using Entity Framework Core
- Collaborate, support and contribute with the team on new feature builds, legacy CRM integrations, and bug resolution
- Participate in code reviews, architecture decisions, and agile ceremonies
- Coach and mentor mid- and junior-level engineers
- Contribute to the overall engineering strategy and improve development processes
What You Bring
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience with .NET Core, C#, and Entity Framework
- 4+ years in front-end web development (React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap)
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Solid experience with SQL (preferably MSSQL)
- Strong Object-Oriented Design skills and understanding of SOLID principles
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Passion for clean, bug-free, testable code and product quality
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Bonus Points For
- Experience in a leadership or team lead role
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or Azure)
- Experience with DevOps pipelines, Git, Jira, or Agile methodologies
- Experience working on B2B or SaaS platforms
- Familiarity with CRM systems or vertical industry software
