Overview
How You'll Make an Impact
As Software Engineer I, you will be part of a collaborative development team supporting our automotive marketing platform. You will contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of .NET-based applications. This is an ideal opportunity for early-career professionals looking to grow their technical skills and gain experience in a fast-paced, agile environment. This will be a hybrid role based out of our West Chicago, IL office.

What You'll Achieve

Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications using .NET Core, C#, SQL Server, HTML5, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like Vue.js or Angular.
Participate in daily Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with senior engineers, QA analysts, and product team members to deliver high-quality features.
Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to unit testing efforts.
Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues under the guidance of senior developers.
Participate in peer code reviews and team knowledge-sharing sessions.
Support the documentation of code, user stories, and technical designs.

Who You Are

What you'll bring with you:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 0-2 years of professional experience in software development.
- Exposure to .NET technologies and familiarity with C#, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
- Basic understanding of relational databases such as SQL Server.
- Willingness to learn microservices, APIs, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to grow technical capabilities.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies.
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
Why you might stand out from other talent:
- Experience with Git, Visual Studio, or Azure DevOps is a plus.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and web services.
- Interest in automotive or marketing domains is a bonus

Base Salary: $62,250 - $83,000

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon, but not limited to the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location and application employment laws. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
