JOB DESCRIPTION:
We're seeking a .NET Developer with a strong interest in developing systems on the Microsoft platform. This position is ideal for a developer with 1-3 years of experience, who has a proven record of accomplishment of delivering high-quality solutions and is looking to contribute their expertise at a junior level. This role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for both telecommuting and in-office work.
As a .NET Developer, you will lead a team of experienced developers to create, maintain, and enhance our web-based applications. You will leverage your advanced skills in C#, ASP.NET, SQL, MVC, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to design scalable and efficient solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the development of web-based applications using C#, ASP.NET, SQL, MVC, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new features and functionality.
- Conduct code reviews and drive the improvement of code quality and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex bugs and issues in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with modern development technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
- Mentor and support the transition from VB.NET to C# and other modern technologies.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of projects and tasks
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in .NET development, with a strong record of accomplishment of delivering high-quality solutions.
- Expert proficiency in C#, with a strong interest in modern technologies and frameworks.
- Extensive experience in web development using ASP.NET, SQL, MVC, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- In-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming principles and design patterns.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to handle complex challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated, with a passion for continuous learning, innovation, and driving technical excellence.
PREFERRED SKILLS (NOT REQUIRED, BUT A PLUS):
- Experience with other modern programming languages and frameworks, such as .NET Core and Razor Pages.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap and modern design principles.
- Strong familiarity with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
