Position:.Net Developer
Location:hybrid-Frankfort, Kentucky
Estimated Duration: The client approximates that this project may last up to months. However, there is no guarantee of employment for any length of time.
Pay Rate Range:$30-38/hr. (Apex Systems offers weekly pay)
Project Description:Our client is seeking a .Net Developer to join the Office of Education Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining web applications, mentoring junior developers, and taking the lead on various projects. This role requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality applications to support the department's mission.
Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:
- Design, develop, and test web applications/components using the .NET stack (.NET 6, C#).
- Modernize and maintain web applications to support KDE and school district activities.
- Manage and maintain web servers in all environments.
- Optimize web applications for responsiveness and efficiency while maintaining consistency.
- Interact with business users to gather requirements and implement changes or enhancements.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to other developers.
- Lead technical migration projects, such as upgrading from .NET 4.8 to higher versions.
- Adhere to Microsoft coding standards and contribute to the development of best practices.
Requirements:- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- C# experience
- Ability to work in a hybrid setting
